Frequently Asked Questions

A QR code (Quick Response code) is a smart, two-dimensional barcode that can store and share a lot of information quickly. Unlike traditional barcodes, which only store data horizontally, a QR code stores data both horizontally and vertically, meaning it can hold much more. When you scan a QR code with a smartphone or other device, it instantly gives you access to the info inside. That could be a link to a website, some text, contact details or payment info. It’s a fast, easy and contactless way to share data and it’s being used more and more in marketing, events, shops and even healthcare.

A QR code works by storing information in a pattern of black and white squares. When you scan the code with your smartphone or another device, the stored info appears instantly on your screen, like a website link, text, contact details or payment info. Because QR codes store data both horizontally and vertically, they can hold much more information than a regular barcode. No typing, no searching, just scan and go. It’s a fast, easy and contactless way to share data.

Static QR codes are simple and fixed. Once created, the content is locked – you can’t change it later. So if the link is wrong or the destination changes, the code won’t work anymore.
Dynamic QR codes are much more flexible. You can update the destination even after printing or sharing the code. That makes them ideal for marketing campaigns, temporary promotions or anything that might change over time. On top of that, dynamic QR codes can track data like scan time, location and frequency, giving you valuable insights into how your code is being used.
In short: a static code gives you simplicity and stability, while a dynamic code offers flexibility and extra insights.

QR codes are super versatile and can store all kinds of digital content. From websites and PDF files to app store links, videos and even WiFi network details.
